Saya dan istri memang sudah merencanakan untuk melakukan liburan pacaran ke singapore, ya.. hanya kami berdua, tidak dengan anak-anak.  Hotel Grand Chancellor kami pilih atas rekomendasi dari travel agent kami yang biasa mengurus perjalanan dinas saya.  Walaupun agak ragu awalnya, karena lokasinya tidak dekar orchade road, namun ternyata dekat sekali dengan station MRT.

Hotel ini masih sangat baru, jadi ada beberapa lift dan juga restaurant-nya belum jadi atau belum bisa dipakai.
Kamar yang deluxe-nya tidak begitu luas, namun cukup buat kami berdua ;-)

Hotel Grand Chancellor is located on Belilios Road (off Serangoon Road) next to a famous Indian Temple which was built in 1881. It is also within 5 minutes walk away from MRT stations and the famous 24-hour shopping centre within the "Little Indie" enclave. 

The "Little India" of today has a colorful history, dating back to the time when Sir Stamford Raffles first set foot in Singapore back in 1819. The area was designated for the Indian community, as two thousand three hundred and twenty Indians settlers were part of the entourage. As the community grew and the area became more popular, it earned its nickname "Little India" which has since stuck. Today, "Little India" is a must visit tourist destination in Singapore due to its colorful mix of heritage buildings, temples and people.
